The BelRose Group has been exclusively engaged by Yilli Rreung Housing Aboriginal Corporation to recruit an Executive Assistant. This is a permanent opportunity supporting the Chief Executive Officer and Board within a busy Aboriginal community controlled organisation.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant provides high level executive, administrative, governance and company secretariat support. You will help the office of the Chief Executive Officer run smoothly by managing priorities, preparing documents, coordinating meetings and supporting clear follow up across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide high level executive and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Manage diary, meetings, appointments, travel, correspondence and competing priorities.
  • Prepare letters, emails, reports, agendas, briefing notes, presentations and other documents.
  • Coordinate Board and committee meeting papers, agendas, minutes, action lists and schedules.
  • Maintain governance records, registers and secure document control systems.
  • Support timely preparation and lodgement of governance and statutory documents.
  • Liaise professionally with Board members, staff, community stakeholders, government contacts and partner organisations.

Ideal profile
  • Experience in an Executive Assistant, senior administration or similar support role.
  • Strong experience managing executive diaries, emails, correspondence, meetings and administrative workflows.
  • Experience supporting governance, Board or company secretariat functions.
  • Knowledge of ORIC requirements, the CATSI Act and governance processes, or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Highly developed written communication skills across minutes, correspondence, reports and briefing documents.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and a high volume workload.
  • Sound judgement, discretion and confidence handling sensitive and culturally sensitive information.
