Hobart, Tasmania
Full time or Part time (0.8 FTE)| Hybrid | Salary packaging 


The BelRose Group has been exclusively engaged by OneCare to recruit a HR Advisor to join its Corporate Office team in Hobart. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leaders across the organisation while being part of a highly supportive and flexible HR function.
OneCare is a leading not for profit aged care provider with more than forty years of experience delivering residential aged care, independent living and home care services across Tasmania. The HR Advisor plays a key role in providing practical, timely and accurate human resources advice to managers and employees. Working as part of a collaborative HR team, the role supports the organisation’s strategic objectives through strong generalist practice and trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:
  • Providing day to day HR advice across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee relations and off boarding
  • Supporting managers with the interpretation and application of industrial awards, enterprise agreements and relevant legislation
  • Coaching and supporting leaders to effectively manage performance, conduct and development matters
  • Special projects to evolve systems and processes
  • Contributing to HR reporting for senior leaders as required

The ideal candidate profile:
  • Experience in a human resources generalist role, ideally with previous experience in a similar position
  • A qualification in human resources or equivalent practical experience
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation and the ability to apply it in a service delivery environment
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work constructively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A team focused approach and genuine alignment with a caring, values driven organisation
