The BelRose Group has been exclusively engaged by Galiwin’ku Women’s Space Aboriginal Corporation to recruit an Administration Officer / Business Support for this important community role. This position provides practical administrative and operational support across programs, systems, records and community activities.

Galiwin’ku Women’s Space Aboriginal Corporation is a Yolŋu led organisation supporting women, children and families in Galiwin’ku. The organisation provides culturally grounded services shaped by Yolŋu values, leadership and community priorities. Its work is guided by Gurrutu, client led practice and a Two Worlds approach.

As Administration Officer / Business Support you will help keep daily operations organised, accurate and responsive. You will support data entry, digital systems, correspondence, meeting coordination, registers, fleet records and community room bookings. This role suits a capable administrator who understands the importance of confidentiality, reliability and culturally respectful communication.

Key responsibilities

  • Enter accurate data into operational portals and databases
  • 2-3 sleepover shifts per week on the oncall roster 
  • Maintain digital filing systems including SharePoint, OneDrive and JotForm
  • Manage incoming emails, correspondence, calendars and meeting bookings
  • Coordinate meeting logistics including venues, catering and documentation
  • Maintain registers for MOUs, weekly programs, community room bookings and repairs
  • Support ordering of stock, uniforms and program merchandise
  • Assist with community events, engagement activities and administrative support
Ideal profile
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Experience using digital filing systems such as SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with care
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and manage competing tasks
  • Previous administration experience is valued
