The BelRose Group has been exclusively engaged by Galiwin’ku Women’s Space Aboriginal Corporation to recruit an Operations Manager for this critical leadership role. This position plays a central role in strengthening service delivery and supporting women, families and community wellbeing in Galiwin’ku.
Galiwin’ku Women’s Space Aboriginal Corporation is a Yolngu run organisation established by local women to address domestic and family violence in North East Arnhem Land. The organisation operates through a two worlds approach, bringing together Yolngu and Balanda knowledge. Its services include crisis support, prevention programs and crisis accommodation that strengthen culture and empower families.
As Operations Manager, you will lead the coordination and delivery of programs across the organisation. You will oversee case managers, therapists and program leads to ensure services are safe, effective and culturally responsive. This role contributes to operational planning, stakeholder engagement and the ongoing development of service models that meet community needs.

Key responsibilities:
- Provide day to day leadership and oversight of service delivery teams across programs
- Support staff to deliver high quality case management and therapeutic services
- Monitor program performance and service outcomes to ensure alignment with community needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community, government and service partners
- Oversee data collection, reporting and compliance with funding and organisational requirements
- Provide mentoring, supervision and support to staff to strengthen capability and practice
- Contribute to operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives
Ideal profile:
- Bachelor qualification in Community Services or a related field
- Minimum five years experience in a leadership role within community services
- Strong people leadership and team management capability
- Experience overseeing case management or therapeutic service delivery
- Ability to work effectively in a cross cultural environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Understanding of domestic and family violence and its impacts
